Q. Where is the session held?
A. Sessions are held at my home studio in Chichester, West Sussex – unless an outdoor location session has been booked.
Q. When is the best time to do a maternity session?
A. Some time between your 30-36th week of pregnancy in my opinion but not as a strict rule. Bump will be beautifully pronounced by then and you’ll hopefully still be comfortable. It’s a bit tricky to book it towards the end just in case you give birth a few weeks early and having been pregnant twice myself, I know most women start to get a lot of aches and pains towards the very end of their pregnancy.
Q. When is the best time to book a newborn session?
A. Once you have decided that you would like me to take some beautiful images of your newborn, I suggest that you book your appointment on your 6th or 7th month of pregnancy. I only currently work during the weekends so I do get booked up really quickly. If you have already had your baby and have only just found me – do still contact me just in case I have got a spot available due to last minute cancellations.
Q. What happens if I book a newborn session and baby decides to make an appearance before or after our booked session?
A. That is absolutely fine, I know that babies rarely come out bang on time. I always give priority to my newborn sessions because of the time span for which newborns must be photographed so will re-arrange appointments if needs be to accommodate your newborn. Q. Do you do wedding photography?
A. I have in the past but moving forward, this is not something I currently offer. For the past four years I have done different types of photography, and as much as I love them all – newborns and babies are my absolute favourite (no wonder I am broody all the time!). So I will be concentrating on newborns, babies and very young children and more than happy to do maternity and family sessions (with young children) too.
Q. What is included in my chosen session/package?
A. You will receive the time allotted for your chosen session, a private password-protected gallery of your images, use of my many props and custom editing of your best photos. Prints and digitals are also included on some of my packages, you can check it by clicking this.
Q. What happens if I want to cancel my booking?
A. As I only take two to three clients a week my bookings are very important to me. My business suffers greatly when a client cancels the appointment at the last minute as it will mean a full working day is lost. So with this in mind, booking fees are unfortunately non-refundable for cancellations. However if you have a family or friend who can make good use of your booking, then I will consider doing a session for them instead. Please notify me two weeks before the session at the very least if you would like to give your session to someone else. Booking fees will be refunded if I have to cancel your appointment for some reason unless I have offered a re-schedule and you decide to decline it.
Q. What happens if my child is ill and we have to cancel the appointment?
A. I understand that sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances – you may have to re-book your appointment. Please do not try to fulfill the appointment if your child is unwell. We can re-schedule another appointment but paid booking fee unfortunately cannot be refunded. It can be re-used for another day granting enough notice has been given and will be up to my discretion.
Q. Who can come to the session?
A. I would prefer that only the people being photographed will be at the session. For newborn sessions, I would prefer it if mum is with one other person – preferably Dad so I can incorporate some family shots if you so wish. For baby/child sessions, I would prefer it if only the parents are present. I would love to be able to connect to the baby/child so I can get shots where they are looking at me and the camera and I can just let their personalities shine. This is a bit hard to do when there are too many other family members or friends present as the baby/child can get distracted.
Q. What if my child does not cooperate during a session?
A. I have a nearly 5 year old and a nearly 2 year old so I do have a few techniques up my sleeve. However I never ever push a session even with my own children as it will just result to tantrums and tears. Sometimes a quick break is all they need. If after taking a break we are still finding that baby/child is just not up for having his/her photos taken – we will call it a day. We can then discuss on the day how best to move forward.
Q. Do you do outdoor sessions?
A. I absolutely love outdoor sessions specially during spring and summer time! Let me know if you would like an outdoor session so we can agree the best time and place.
Q. What can I expect during my session?
A. With newborn sessions I take things very slow – this is not something that can be rushed as quick movements may wake up your newborn. Q. What is not allowed during a session?
A. I respect your privacy by not posting any of your photos on my website or any other social media if you so wish so please do respect my privacy as well by not taking photos of my set-ups, poses and recording videos unless requested by myself. Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.
Q. What should I/we wear?

Q. Can you travel to us?
A. I’m sorry but I don’t currently offer home visits for any sessions. I only currently offer newborn sessions at my mini home studio as it’s much easier for me to not have to transport a lot of my equipment and props back and forth during sessions. Also, I have massive windows for natural light photography! I know how much space I have got and how to best utilise it. You will have to travel to me or we can agree a location if we are doing an outdoor shoot.
Q. Do I get to see all the images from our session?
A. You will notice that for the duration of your whole session, I will try out different set-ups, poses and/or props. However, if I feel that an image does not meet my level of standard I will not include it on your viewing gallery. I normally take a lot of photos during the session to make sure I am capturing the best facial expressions, best angle, etc – but please note that you will only see the best ones out of the whole lot.
Q. How do I place my order?
A. It is quicker to place your order online via my online store which can be found by clicking this. You can also pay me via bank transfer by e-mailing your order over to email@example.com. As soon as your payment is received, I will then order your chosen product(s) from my suppliers or send the USB straight away to you if that’s what you are purchasing. However, if you would like to meet up with me again and have a viewing and ordering session – do let me know. I can only do viewing and ordering sessions during weekends after my sessions but if you need some help or advice on what to order, I am only more than happy to see you again.
Q. How do I pay for my booking fee and/or products I would like to purchase?
A. You can make your payment easily and safely by paypal through my online store which can be found by clicking this. Please note that Paypal now accepts card payments, so you don’t need to sign up to paypal if you don’t already have an account with them. You can also pay by bank transfer by sending me an e-mail first to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. I have bought some of my images on a USB. Do I own these photos now?
A. Your high resolution print ready images will be provided with a print release which will enable you to reproduce your images however many times you wish for personal use only. Please take the time to read its full Terms and Conditions. Bebe Love Photography retains the copyright to all images. Copyright infringement is punishable by law.
Q. How can I get a loyalty card? Can I let my family or friends use it?
A. Please ask me for a loyalty card and I will only be more than happy to either send it to you by post or give it to you in person when I see you for your session. It gives you a discount on your chosen package or product(s) each time you come back to me for a session. The more you come back, the greater the discount will be. Only the client who’s name is on the loyalty card can use the card. However, if you refer me to your family and friends and it results to a paid booking fee – this will also count as a return visit and I will only be more than happy to tick a box for you for every paid referrals. Please note that the Loyalty Card cannot be used with discounted offers and packages.
Q. Am I allowed to bring my own props?
A. Certainly! I am more than happy to incorporate them as long as it fits the theme and my style. For cake smash sessions, please bring your own helium balloons and any other party decoration you want included at the session.
Q. I would like to keep my session private and don’t really want any of our photos posted on your website or any social media. Is this possible?
A. Absolutely! Although Bebe Love Photography retains the copyright to all your images, I respect your privacy so please let me know before our session if you would like to keep it private. This however does not apply to Casting/Model Calls and Special Offers.
Q. What is a casting/model call?
A. From time to time I will be offering free sessions with photos to clients for portfolio-building or marketing and advertising purposes. In return, I would like to be given full permission to use any of the images on any of my marketing materials, website, social media.
