Hello! My name is Erikka, I am the owner and photographer of Bebe Love Photography. I am a wife and mummy to three beautiful girls – Alexia, Ava and Elena. I am based in the beautiful city of Chichester, West Sussex – which is in the South East part of the United Kingdom. I am originally from the Philippines, but moved to England in 1999 with my mum, dad and two brothers. Apart from photography – I love food, music and travelling. Some random facts about me are: I am addicted to chocolate!! I can play the guitar (and used to play it well), and for a short time – I was in a small local band in the Philippines at 14 as a vocalist. I originally went to University to become a chef, and then became a personal bank account manager instead. I went travelling around the world with my husband back in 2007 and even went skydiving in New Zealand. I think it is safe to say that I am a scatterbrain. I didn’t know what I really want to do for a long time. I have always loved photography and have always loved taking photos of people, places and random things – but have never thought that one day I’ll be doing it as a profession. It is the most awesome surprise!
Photography started as a hobby for me but my passion and enthusiasm for newborn and baby photography grew since I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Alexia in 2010. A lot of awesome people have told me how much they love the photos I have taken and encouraged me to give baby photography a go. For almost 3 years, I was a self-taught photographer. But during the past year, I have attended a newborn photography workshop, an intensive newborn & lighting training with two of my favourite leading UK newborn/baby photographers and purchased a video workshop from a very respected American photographer that I regularly watch to ensure that I am continuously learning and improving. My aim is to provide you with really beautiful, unique and artistic images, while observing your baby’s safety at all times.
I have a converted garage which I currently use as my studio (my preferred location for posed fine art sessions like newborn, baby, child and maternity photography as I have all my background, flooring, lighting and props in hand). I do love outdoor sessions too specially when the weather is good! I prefer outdoor location sessions for families, running and walking toddlers and relaxed maternity sessions. I highly recommend it if you want a more relaxed, informal session. We can go to the park, beach or woods – where I can capture some candid, natural, and fun shots.
I look forward to hearing from you and creating some beautiful memories together!! 🙂
